Water is the one garden element that fails loudly. A pump sized too small never moves enough water to sound like anything; one sized too large empties a basin over the edge. Both are decided long before anyone sees it running.
What we plan
- Pump and pipe sized for the height and volume the feature actually needs
- Power run safely to the feature, with an accessible isolator
- Overflow and top-up, because evaporation in April is faster than people expect
- Filtration and a way to drain and clean without emptying it by bucket
- Mosquito control designed in, through movement and stocking rather than chemicals
From a still reflecting pool to a spouted wall or a formal fountain. The quiet ones are usually harder than the loud ones.
