Planted walls for indoors and out, built on a system with irrigation and drainage rather than pots on a frame.
Most green walls that fail were never systems. They were pots fixed to a frame, watered by hand until somebody went on leave. A wall that is going to live needs irrigation, drainage and a way to reach every plant on it.
What we install
- A structural frame set off the wall, so damp never reaches the building
- Drip irrigation on a timer, with a drain line back to a gully
- Species grouped by light, because the top and bottom of a wall are different climates
- Access planned for replanting, which every wall needs eventually
- Indoor walls specified with the light levels actually present, not assumed
Used on facades, boundary walls, reception areas and restaurant interiors. Maintenance is monthly, and we will quote it with the wall rather than after it.
