Planting a thousand saplings is easy. Having eight hundred of them alive in three years is the work, and it is decided by pit size, species choice and who waters them in the first two dry seasons.
What we do
- Species matched to soil and use: shade, fruit, screening or avenue
- Pits dug and backfilled properly, which is where most mass planting quietly fails
- Staking and guards where cattle, mowers or people will otherwise finish them
- An establishment watering plan for the first two years, costed and staffed
- Survival counted and gaps replaced, rather than assumed
We will give you a survival figure to hold us to. A planting report that only counts what went in the ground is not a report.
