Agro tourism only works when the farm is real. Visitors can tell the difference immediately between a working orchard and a display planted for photographs, and the first is what they came for.
How we lay it out
- Visitor routes separated from working routes, so tractors and guests are never on the same path
- Crop blocks arranged for a walking circuit with something in season year round
- Shaded stopping points at the distances people actually tire
- Demonstration plots close to the entrance, production plots further out
- Parking and arrival kept off productive land
Planned with the farm's own calendar, so the busiest harvest weeks are not also the weeks visitors are walking through the middle of it.
