Product details

Tagetes erecta. The workhorse of a Dhaka winter bed, and the reason event planting is ordered by the hundred rather than the plant.

Care

Light — full sun; it stretches and flops in shade
Water — at the base, not over the flowers, which rot if kept wet
Deadhead — weekly, and it keeps flowering until the heat returns
Spacing — 25–30 cm apart for a bed that closes over

Supplied hardened off in trays of 12, in bud, October to February.
